Space is a contemporary digital culture centre and Europe’s largest permanent e-sport and gaming venue, set to open late 2021 in Stockholm. Space combines gaming, music, and content creation, key ingredients of digital culture, under one roof. It also includes offices and co-working spaces, totalling 1,200 sqm, which have been assigned to NORNORM. The vision for these is to allow for start-up companies to develop business models in close proximity to the audience. Apart form being flexible, the design of the furniture solutions also needed to harmonise with the rest of the contemporary style of the premises.
