How Twelve Turned a Truck Garage Into a Warm, Circular HQ
Twelve brought four offices together under one roof in a renovated Amsterdam truck garage. A circular furniture subscription turned 842 m² of industrial space into a warm, flexible HQ that changes as they grow.
The Goal
Twelve builds POS and cash register systems for places where every second counts, from stadiums and festivals to sports clubs and quick-service hospitality. Rightsizing for its next phase of growth, the team closed four offices to move into one HQ: two connected buildings in a former truck garage and repair shop, still under renovation. The challenge was making large, industrial spaces warm enough that people would choose the office over working from home.
NORNORM's Solution
NORNORM furnished the 842 m² HQ in our Nordic Light style, bringing natural materials and warmth into the raw, industrial spaces. With the building still taking shape, the subscription gave Twelve room to experiment. They tested setups and changed layouts as they learned how their teams actually use the space, something you would rarely do with furniture you own. Circular furniture in a regenerated building was a natural fit.

The Outcome
Twelve now works from one HQ instead of four separate offices, giving teams that were once spread out a shared home. The layout keeps evolving with the business, without new purchases or waste. CapEx came down too. It was never the main goal, but it was a welcome extra.
