RCO Security – A Flexible Office That Reflects Smart Values
RCO Security’s office in Stockholm was designed to support a more flexible way of working. Through NORNORM’s circular furniture subscription, the workspace can adapt as teams and functions change, without large upfront investments or unnecessary waste.
The Goal
Since 2017, RCO Security has been wholly owned by Novax, part of the family-owned Axel Johnson AB. Founded in 1976, the company develops and manufactures access control and security systems for the Nordic market. With headquarters in Solna and production in Järfälla, RCO is a well-established player with a clear ambition for the future. Today, the company operates across Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
As the office evolved, there was a clear need: a flexible workplace without assigned desks. The space had to adapt quickly as functions changed. At the same time, the solution needed to align with their core values, particularly the principle We act smart.
NORNORM's Solution
Through NORNORM’s circular subscription model, RCO gained an interior solution that adjusts in step with their organisation. When new needs arise, furniture can be added or replaced. When something is no longer required, it is returned and given new life elsewhere.
This makes change simple, without large upfront investments. The model supports RCO’s long-term, resource-conscious way of working. Flexibility is built in from the start through the subscription model.

The Outcome
Today, RCO has a dynamic office that reflects how they operate: smart and long-term. The layout has already been adjusted several times as needs have evolved. The workspace performs in practice while reinforcing the company’s sustainable business direction.
