Design. Flexibility. Sustainability. Moss Balanced the Office Triangle of Requirements

When creative tech company Moss set out to design their new Berlin office, they partnered with NORNORM and Studio Vale to create a future-ready space built on circularity. By choosing a furniture subscription model, they prioritised flexibility, sustainability, and design - resulting in a workspace that feels like home, evolves with their team, and reflects a smarter, more sustainable way of furnishing offices.

NORNORM Solution

Moss partnered with NORNORM and Studio Vale to create an office that feels like home. One that’s both visually refined and functionally adaptive. Using NORNORM’s circular modular product range, the space was designed around activity-based working, with a focus on warmth, comfort, and flexibility. Instead of purchasing new furniture with every move, Moss now uses a scalable, circular system that evolves as their needs do. And because NORNORM handles everything from planning and delivery to furniture swaps and returns, the team can stay focused on what matters most: building great products.

We had three key requirements: good design, flexibility for growth, and sustainability. NORNORM was the only one that ticked all three - and they delivered from day one. No hassle, no waste, just a great office that feels like us.
Ferdinand 'Micky' Meyer, Co-founder

The Outcome

Moss’s Berlin HQ is now a space that reflects its brand and supports its team—without the usual office setup hassle. With design and sustainability built in, they’ve created a space employees are proud of, without overspending or overcommitting. The entire process from design through installation was streamlined, with no snagging or delays. Thanks to NORNORM’s subscription model, Moss can adjust their workspace as they grow, without waste or disruption. It’s a smarter way to scale, without compromising on quality or identity.
