Wallenstam continues to develop the Stockholm region's new dynamic area UMAMI PARK in Hallonbergen, Sundbyberg, housing, offices and premises that are expected to be completed in 2024. As part of the development project, NORNORM will be able to offer Wallenstam's corporate customers at UMAMI OFFICE high-quality furniture in a timeless design through a subscription service for office furniture, which is both circular and flexible.
We are incredibly happy that Wallenstam chooses to collaborate with NORNORM and help drive sustainability development in the industry forward. We are currently seeing a strong demand from our customers to be able to move into completed premises and at the same time be able to offer a high degree of flexibility and a circular solution, says Jonas Kjellberg, founder and chairman of the board at NORNORM.
NORNORM provides businesses with attractive workplace furniture solutions based on a subscription model. Requiring neither investment nor long-term commitment, it offers flexibility to scale up or down as the company grows or downsizes. The concept is built on circularity, where every piece of furniture is kept in a loop from one workspace to the next, and every product is carefully maintained and refurbished to extend its lifespan. Good for business, people and the planet. NORNORM is not just a concept, a company or a service — it is a new and circular way of doing business.
We look forward to the collaboration with NORNORM and being able to offer a flexible and sustainable concept for our office tenants through their service. In addition to new, nice office space with wonderful light, in the near future there will be a gym, health centre and several restaurants in the area, says Malin Kernby, Customer Manager Commercial Stockholm / Uppsala at Wallenstam.
Thirteen minutes from Stockholm city, a completely new area is emerging. A place for modern companies. For homes, restaurants, shops and nature. Here, in the expansive space of Umami Park in Sundbyberg, Wallenstam creates the conditions for an inspiring, flexible and efficient working life. The proximity to the metro, Stockholm city, Solna and Kista is unbeatable, at the same time Arlanda and Bromma airport are at a convenient distance. Fully developed, Umami Park includes about 800 new apartments, and nice areas for restaurants, shops, services and offices.
Wallenstam is constantly looking for new opportunities to build, develop and work more sustainably. In Umami Park, they also take advantage of the energy stored in the ground – geo-energy. With the help of wind power electricity, the energy is converted into heat and cold. The energy used becomes completely CO2-free.
