What NORNORM does

We take care of the planning and implementation of your NORNORM furnishing service, including:

  • Planning the implementation of the agreed design in your workspace.
  • Delivery of all subscription furniture to your location.
  • Assembly of all subscription furniture.
  • Installation – setting up all subscription furniture according to the agreed design.

What you need to do:

At NORNORM we focus on delivering the furniture for your office through our flexible subscription model. But, we are happy to advise on how to make the office come alive through coordinated wall colours and panelling, selected flooring and guides to how to accessorise your space.

Use our guides to prepare the final touches of your new workspace:

A styling guide for wall colouring, wall panels and flooring based on our coordinated style expressions (PDF)

A guide for how to practically select and implement accessories into your space (PDF)

Electricity

To get your office fully operational as soon as possible, please secure that electricity is prepared for desks and meeting tables before we arrive at the site for implementation. Furniture that needs electricity is marked with a power plug in your design (only visible in the 2D view). You will need to connect all devices to a power socket and finalise the cable management on workstations after our implementation is complete.

All desks will come with a cable tray/net underneath the desk, prepared for simple cable management based on your needs.

All tables in meeting rooms come with power sockets and one cord that need to be connected to the power source.

He emphasises that being 'potentially circular' is insufficient without a concrete and, preferably legally binding, plan for product lifecycle management. This perspective is crucial for customers evaluating circular claims, pushing companies to not just promise sustainability but to embed it into their actual business practices.

To remain credible towards industry peers and customers, the best practice is to have a clear, communicable, and incentivised plan for your circular business model that customers can trust and rely on. Vojtech Vosecky is one of the leading circular economy advocates, with experiences ranging from being the co-founder of the successful think-tank Institute of Circular Economy, working for the European Parliament, and the world-leading organisation Circle Economy. In 2022, he was also selected as one of the Top Green Voices to follow in Europe by LinkedIn.

Vojtech stresses the importance of being hyper-authentic in the communication of your circular business principles. For him, it’s about being bold in stating what you stand for, challenging misconceptions, and creating moments of realisation for your audience (think true “aha-moments”). His approach - educate, inspire, and agitate - is a formula that companies can use to effectively market their circular efforts. Vojtech highlights that no matter the format of your marketing, and to avoid the trap of greenwashing, be authentic and stand your ground, whilst always backing up with research. That always wins.
Takeaway
